Cleaning the pump is straightforward. The lid of the pump housing can be removed, enabling you to take it out and rinse it under running water. Be sure to rinse the pump housing, including the water inlet. If algae or slime accumulates, you can gently scrub the components with a small brush. Once cleaned, simply return the pump to its housing, close the lid, and you’re set!

We recommend regularly refreshing the water in your bird bath to avoid slime build-up. Note that your fountain operates most effectively when the solar panel and pump are kept clean and free from dirt or deposits.
